I needed a Thank You card for a co-worker and saw this sketch over at Mojo Monday and thought I would give it a try. 
The colouring is very subdued but I think that the effects show much better in person.I hope you enjoy.

Anyway I have to say I am glad I came because I have been lamenting that I ever bought the My Friend set because I didn't have enough ideas for it well, until now. You may want to take a look at another card that I made earlier this year...seedstlc.blogspot.ca/2012/01/more-scraps.html or click under the labels tab on My Friend. Love your creations, always an inspiration!
DeleteWow I love it. The striped paper is fun the images look great with the inked edges. The lovely sheer bow and stick pins adds interest and dimension. I don't recognize the border punch but its perfect. Thanks for your comment on my card. I love feed back, but I hate those verification codes. So hard to read.
ReplyDeleteQuite a lovely card! I am sure it is prettier in person because the elements are very subtle and that is hard to photograph. I clicked to see a bigger image and still could not quite get the full effect. I think you could start with a bigger image of your card. It deserves it! Stopping by from Mojo 244 and getting lost in all the pretty stuff. TFS!
