It's Tuesday again, so it's time for Try Stampin on Tuesday. CherylAnn has come up with a sketch that had me thinking this week. My that girl makes it hard sometimes.
You can't get much more girly-girl than with my version of the sketch. My starting off point was the DSP that was used. Last week I received an email from Christina at Card Making Magic. In her blog she had this great collection of Pink DSP that you could download. You really must stop by her sight and check out what she has.
I have been wanting to try a lace up ribbon treatment so I took the DSP and punched using the Scallop Border Punch and then adhered it to the card front leaving a little gap between the two piece of paper. I think I should have left more of a gap, but I wanted a corset effect. Then with 1/8" ribbon I laced up the DSP and finished it off with a bow at the top.
The corset was stamped and cut out. under the corset I stamped using the Elizabeth stamp. I inked up only half of the stamp and stamped it first one way and then reinked it and stamped the opposite way. (clear as mud right!)
Once the stamping was done I adhered the corset using a dimensional to make it stand out.
Now hope on over and see what the other designers have for you. I know you won't be disappointed, I know I never am.
So it's your turn now. Let's see what you can do with CherylAnn's sketch and don't forget to post it on the Try Stampin website so that I can see what you have come up with.
Hope you have enjoyed what I have created.
Nancy
