Last month I announced that I had been chosen to be a Designer on Cardabilities for the months of September thru November. Today I reveal the first of the cards that I have created for Cardabilties.
I have participated in a few of their challenges and the sketches are really great to work with, so I hope that you will join along in the fun.
I wanted to give the card the look of a dreamcatcher. I know that the centre of a dreamcatcher is open, but I thought this would be the best place to show the sentiment. By adding the feathers to the end of the beads it gives it more of a true dreamcatcher appearance.
I took plain wire and strung the beads onto it and then inserted the feather into the end and secured it with Tombow glue. Added a little extra with the two beads on the actual sentiment section.
I hope that you enjoy what I have come up with. Now it's your turn. Give the sketch and try and then post it so we can all see what you have come up with. I know you will enjoy what the other designers have for you as well.
Thanks for stopping by.
Nancy
