Love Neutrally!

I am a little behind the clock with my Valentines cards this year.  I have made a couple of very special ones for the Stampin Fun and Friends Session which starts on February 1, but can't reveal them until later, so make sure that you keep your eyes open for some very special cards in the weeks to come.

For now I have been playing around with some simple neutral colours.  I have a couple of cards that need to go to males so they can't be too fancy.
This card was inspired by the one over at Less is More as well as the Colour Challenge at Dynamic Duoes.  There are so many great cards over there.
This is actually a flat card, with no dimensionals used, but I shaded under the hearts to make it look like they were floating on the page.  Then I added a simple butchers twine knot.

I hope you like what I have come up with.

Nancy

Your comments mean a lot to me, so please remember to leave one.

  1. I thought your hearts were popped up, Nancy! Brilliantly shaded - it's so realistic! Thanks for playing along with us at Dynamic Duos this week :o)

  2. This looks super Nancy, I love the monochrome effect.
If you could link directly to your post rather than to your entire blog and remove the Word Verification, it would help enormously!
    Thanks so much
