Dad was in the Navy during his earlier years and I try each year to make his cards along the nautical themes. This year is no different.
Even with Dad's state of mind his is still the anchor that holds our family together.
The use of the ink splatters from French Foliage appear as what could be bubbles under water.
Challenges that I have entered this card in:
I know that Dad will love this card just as much as I loved making it.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you like what I have put together.

ReplyDeleteLove the symbolism of your Dad being the family anchor, as well as how it represents his service in the Navy. I hope he is able to enjoy your wonderful card on some level-I cannot even imagine how painful it must be to watch him slipping away due to dementia. Thanks for joining our BBTB2 challenge this week!

Thank You so much for joining in this week over at Mod Squad. I really like the design and the anchor, and what it represents. I know this is truly hard to watch and be a part of, and I have no words that will comfort. But I will keep you in my prayers. ((( HUGS )))
