TST #114 Happy Birthday Sherry

April seems to be my month for lots of Birthdays and this card is made for a co-worker.  The sad part about this card is I found out the day after I made the card that Sherry had resigned.  She will definitely be missed in my books.

I have used the sketch from Try Stampin on Tuesday for my inspiration on this card.
I had originally started this card in the portrait position, but once I finished it and thought that it looked much better in the landscape form so I switched it up, which didn't take much other than the sentiment inside and a slight repositioning of the centre band.
The person that is getting this card is a girly girl who loves the colour purple so purple was the obvious choice for this card.

Using purple wire, yes purple wire I threaded beads onto and through the centre piece of the pendant.

I hope you like what I have come up with, now it's your turn.  Need a little more inspiration, then hop on over to the Try Stampin site and see what the other Great Designers have in store for you.  Don't forget to post your creation for everyone to see.

Thanks for stopping by.
